According to the vote and the protocol of the Extraordinary General Assembly of SAMA 2022, Stephan Regli was officially elected as the new President of SAMA. Only a short time later, the handover from Claudio Lasagni to Stephan Regli took place successfully on 1 March 2022.

Stephan Regli has already given a lot of attention to the future of the association and has very quickly and well settled in. At the following first board meeting under Stephan Regli's responsibility, the focus was on goals and intentions such as the organisation and performance of tasks within the Board of Directors or the creation of new added values for the members.

Currently and on an interim basis, Stefan Oser remains on the Board of Directors as Vice-President, as no one has offered yet to stand for election. Nevertheless, there are indications that new board members would like to take over the position, but do not see themselves in a position to do so yet.
