SAMA is the swiss professional association of companies active in the

maintenance and production of aeroplanes, helicopters and components.
 

The association was founded on 10th November 1954, together with ten of the largest maintenance companies and aviation organisations in Switzerland at the time:

FFA

Limess

Farner Werke

Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG

Aero Club der Schweiz (AeCS)

and is one of the oldest associations and organisations of the Swiss aviation industry.
